   Prolifico y reputado director de fotografia (mas de 300 titulos en su haber, entre 1920 y 1970, incluyendo cine y television), dirige siete peliculas, que son siete westerns, el primero de ellos un serial a comienzos del sonoro, y los otros seis, episodios de la serie protagonizada por Charles Starrett. En ninguno de los siete casos hay nada que resaltar de su labor como director. El grueso de su filmografia como director de fotografia esta compuesto por westerns de serie B.
